This family! My bestest friend! Lets just talk about how amazing-ly wonderful they are. This family session was just plain FUN! — we had planned for this certain weekend at the apple orchards, she planned the perfect outfits. I traveled 4 hours to visit friends for the weekend and was shooting my other bestest friend Julie (see her session here), so of course we hoped for the best and got GREAT! The weather was teasing us with clouds and overcast skies, but by some seriously awesome miracle, on our way to the apple orchards the sun peeked it's head out and came through! My roomie and bestest friend from college, man did we do trouble well :) But we sure had fun! hehe! We've been through so much together. And after college we now have kids born within weeks of each other. I can almost count on picking up the phone to share a funny or not so funny kid story and she will inevitably say "oh yeah, D just did that last week!" :)

We've shared so many ups and downs together but never has she not been there for me even if the miles that separate us are far and visits become fewer. For me to get asked to take her family photographs was amazing. A photographer herself, I was nervous to say the least, what if she didn't like them? What if I mess it up? What if....well you get the idea! Pshhhh! It was Mindy, I had this! Plus these little are like my niece and nephew, it was bound to be fun!

I'm so honored to be able to capture these guys — and if you can’t tell in any of these pictures that sweet Alyvia and Deegan are total sweeties, you would have to know their parents! No brainer!

This family just means oh so much to me, there's isn't anything I wouldn't do for Mindy and her family. I’m so happy to finally get around to sharing their sweet smiles with you!<3
